MARTIN BENZ ÜBER:

Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico 2018 DOCG

Benz: 70% Corvina, 20% Corvinone, 10% Rondinella and Molinara. Only the best grapes are used to make Amarone. The grapes are placed on wooden boxes of 6 kg each. The dry season lasts until the end of January. During this process, the grapes lose about 40% of their weight in water and undergo some chemical-physiological transformations that give the wine a unique bouquet and a remarkable concentration. Amarone is not only a wine of technique, but also the result of rigorous work in the vineyard and a patient and careful aging that lasts at least two years after fermentation is completed.

Monte Castelon
