Benz: Dark ruby ​​garnet with a dark core, violet, youthful purple reflections on the edge. Clean Merlot nose of red cherries and subtle floral scents such as hay flowers. Dry with mild acidity, fleshy body with nice fullness. Cherries and sour cherries on the palate, with hints of dried herbs. Perfectly integrated use of wood – wonderfully integrated from a young age. Die Familie Iby aus Horitschon betreibt seit 1884 Weinbau, vor mehr als zehn Jahren wurde auf biologische Bewirtschaftung umgestellt. Ihr hoher Qualitätsanspruch ist das Ergebnis von Wissen und Erfahrung – weitergegeben von Generation zu Generation.

Die Einzigartigkeit des Rotweingutes ist, dass auf über 40 Hektar ausschließlich drei Rebsorten produziert werden. Die Hauptsorte ist, wie soll es anders sein als Mittelburgenländischer Betrieb, der Blaufränkisch.
Jahr für Jahr bemühen sie sich, die Eigenschaften des lokalen Bodens und Klimas einzufangen, die nur durch den ökologischen Landbau erreicht werden können. Die Natur hat sie mit großartigem Rotwein belohnt für die kommenden Generationen.
