Ripe, red fruits dominate the taste, followed by mint and plums. The smooth, ripe tannins give a great structure, while a persistent, tasty finish rounds off the wine. RRP: 30.40 CHF Ernst Gouws & Co. 2 x The 19th Cabernet Merlot 2018 The classic South African Bordeaux-style wine, which Ernst Gouws created as an easy drinking wine for every day, is, in our opinion, simply sensational in terms of value for money. It is the perfect red wine to finish off a well-played round of golf or to reward yourself after a hard day at work. RRP: 14.60 CHF Ernst Gouws & Co 2 x Merlot 2020 Soft and balanced, with aromas of dark cherry and chocolate. The entry on the palate is soft, with a nicely balanced fruit/acid component. The tannins are present yet ripe, giving enough structure to support the lush fruit elements. A savoury finish is complemented by crisp, fresh cherry notes. RRP: 15.60 CHF
