1780 Royal Héritage – Red – 2015

Benz: A legacy like this is not lost, but rather refined. This wine of rare quality is made from the oldest vines growing on the oldest soils of Labastide Orliac. It has the tones of the best Bordeaux wines and is enhanced by the tannins of Tannat and the fruitiness of Abouriou, the region's ancient grape varieties that brightened royal evenings as early as the 18th century. A deep ruby ​​red color bordered by beautiful red reflections. A very expressive bouquet with a wide range of aromas, paste of black fruits, blueberries and blackberries. This is followed by spices such as vanilla, cinnamon and a subtle nuance of violet. A lush and ingenious fruitiness unfolds on the palate, supported by delicious tannins.

Chateau Labastide-Orliac ist ein Familienweingut mit einer langen und erfolgreichen Weinbautradition. Auf der rechten Seite der Garonne an Südhängen gelegen, umfasst das Familiengut 10 Hektar Weinberge auf einem wunderschönen Lehm-Kalkstein-Boden.

Die Familie Orliac beschäftigt sich seit 1780 mit dem Weinbau und bediente Ludwig XVI. und Marie Antoinette bei Tisch. Die Weine von Labastide-Orliac: Royal Heritage, Le Prince und Secrets de Familie werden noch heute im Schloss Versailles serviert.
Seit 30 Jahren leiten Catherine und Isabelle Orliac das Weingut und produzieren mit Leidenschaft Weine aus dem Südwesten der Region Lot et Garonne. Die beiden Schwestern verfeinern permanent Ihre Arbeit mit den Reben, pflanzen neue Rebsorten und betreiben Agroforstwirtschaft. Ihr Ziel ist es, Weine von höchster Qualität anzubieten, die sich vom internationalen Standard abheben aber dennoch bezahlbar bleiben.
