6 year Brandy 1783 VSOP Limited Release

Benz: Our DLG Gold-winning Brandy 1783 was gently distilled from a very high-quality cuvée of mature South African white wines (mainly Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Viognier) and then distilled at Schalkenbosch Weinvertrieb for over 6 years in pre-filled brandy, sherry and port wine barrels (one third each). ) stored and then blended into a barrel quantity. 450 bottles of the 6-year-old Brandy 1783 were bottled from this first barrel - hence the name “Limited Release”. The brandy is characterized by an intense scent of raisins and dried apricots on the nose. On the palate, aromas of nuts, honey and toffee come into their own, and subtle tobacco notes and woody aromas linger during the long and mild finish. This brandy combines tradition and quality and is reminiscent of the long history of this fine distillate, without which Christian seafaring would have been unthinkable. Aber auch als klassischer Weinvertrieb sind wir auf der Suche nach Herausforderungen. So entsteht aus unseren Weinen, welche wir vertreiben auch die ein oder andere Spezialität. Dazu gehört unser Wermut welcher nach dem Testen verschiedener Rezepturen mit dem besten Endergebnis hergestellt und abgefüllt wurde. Ebenfalls unser Weißweinessig – für ihn wurden nur Weine aus unserem Bestand verwendet, was wiederrum eine hervorragende Grundlage für die Reutlinger Essigmanufaktur ist, die den Essig für uns herstellt.
Das Beste zum Schluss: unser mit einer DLG-Gold-Auszeichnung prämierter Brandy. Hier zeigt sich die Qualität der Weine, die wir für unseren Brandy destillieren lassen. Der Brandy ist mit viel Geduld und jahrelanger Lagerung in vorbelegten Brandy und Portweinfässern gereift und wurde dann direkt vom Schalkenbosch Weinvertriebsteam abgefüllt.
