Château Labastide Orliac – Bordeaux
Chateau Labastide-Orliac is a family winery with a long and successful winemaking tradition. Located on the right bank of the Garonne on southern slopes, the family estate covers 10 hectares of vineyards on beautiful clay-limestone soil.
The Orliac family has been involved in viticulture since 1780 and served Louis XVI. and Marie Antoinette at the table. The wines of Labastide-Orliac: Royal Heritage, Le Prince and Secrets de Familie are still served today at the Palace of Versailles.
Catherine and Isabelle Orliac have been running the winery for 30 years and are passionate about producing wines from the southwest of the Lot et Garonne region.
The two sisters are constantly refining their work with the vines, planting new grape varieties and practicing agroforestry. Their goal is to offer wines of the highest quality that stand out from international standards but still remain affordable.
