Domus Hortae

Domus Hortae - Latin for "the garden house" - this is the name chosen by the Fioretti family business, which has always been involved in the cultivation of vineyards, for its wine-growing operation. The family has been tending its vineyards in Orta Nova, Apulia, with the greatest dedication and passion since 1788 and is constantly improving the quality of the wines.

Thanks to its long tradition, the winery is able to produce excellent wines, which are still carefully produced according to ancestral recipes. Thanks to recent innovations in viticulture and winemaking, they are now able to offer some of the best wines in southern Italy, especially Primitivo.

Domus Hortae practically does not use synthetic fertilizers and plant protection products, preferring to use covering products to combat the main diseases affecting the vine. It follows the principles of integrated and sustainable agriculture, excluding all products with a profile that is unfavourable to humans and the environment, and giving priority to products for organic farming.

The aim of Domus Hortae is to offer customers high-quality, sustainably produced wines that are also zero-waste products, while remaining affordable.
